Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida, formerly CHS Healthcare, was founded in 1977 in Immokalee to provide healthcare for the rural poor.
The Healthcare Network is a nonprofit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing high-quality primary medical and dental services for the uninsured, underinsured and insured.
The company currently has 13 healthcare sites throughout Collier County, serving an annual average patient load of 45,000; 32,000 of whom are children.
The Healthcare Network facilities are located in North Naples, East Naples, Golden Gate, Marco Island and Immokalee. They include the Pediatric Dental Center on the Collier campus of Edison State College and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®.
The company staff totals 275, including 42 medical and dental professionals plus the medical students from Florida State University College of Medicine.
